Anthony had clinic today and we now know the reason for PICC lines..There are good and bad to them.
Good points no poking baby 4 times for blood draws..
Bad Points- Blood infections..
So Anthony is getting weaned off one of his GVHD Medicines.We will just keep a close eye and if he starts stooling then the doctors want to do a stomach biopsy.
Please pray that he will be able to get off of this medicine and no increased stooling..
Pray that he will start eating soon.It would be nice to get him off his feeding tube.

About Anthony
Anthony is our 2 year old wonder! In June of 2008, Rhonda found out about a 4 month old baby who had HLH, which is a rare immunity Disease the only way that doctors know how to cure HLH is to get a bone marrow Transplant . When he flew over from his birth town the doctors had no idea what was going on with this little baby, we are told that there were many times this bright eyed wonder would not make it, but with God's protection he made it. when we met Anthony, we fell in love with and soon he was our foster Son/Brother. After many months we learned that his birth mom was going to allow us to adopt him, we are forever thankful for her, and are in contact with Anthony's birth family. Finally we crammed paperwork that usually takes 6 months to process into 6 weeks, he was adopted May 14, 2009. Anthony is currently in the hospital and is having his Bone Marrow Transplant on July 23,2009.
