Last week Anthony supposedly had a Blood infection but that turned out to be really negative.So his White blood Count sky rocketed Monday so the Dr's ordered blood cultures yesterday and they came back positive for Gram Positive,so they think this might be a real infection so they started him on Vancomycin.So if this is a true infection it looks like we will be here for 14 days past the first negative.So looks like the month of May in the hospital or most of it.
He drank and got through his NG tube over the 900 mls of food and is tolerating it just fine.
His electrolytes are still wacky and so please keep praying that his Electrolytes will stabilize soon.
Please pray that this isn't a true infection.

About Anthony
Anthony is our 2 year old wonder! In June of 2008, Rhonda found out about a 4 month old baby who had HLH, which is a rare immunity Disease the only way that doctors know how to cure HLH is to get a bone marrow Transplant . When he flew over from his birth town the doctors had no idea what was going on with this little baby, we are told that there were many times this bright eyed wonder would not make it, but with God's protection he made it. when we met Anthony, we fell in love with and soon he was our foster Son/Brother. After many months we learned that his birth mom was going to allow us to adopt him, we are forever thankful for her, and are in contact with Anthony's birth family. Finally we crammed paperwork that usually takes 6 months to process into 6 weeks, he was adopted May 14, 2009. Anthony is currently in the hospital and is having his Bone Marrow Transplant on July 23,2009.
